Hello all and welcome to the Film Fest season!

No longer considered a suburban community on the outskirts of Toronto, Vaughan has fast become an independent, world-class city. To meet the cultural and artistic needs of this growing city, Reel Film Pictures launched the very first Vaughan Film Festival in April of 2013. Now in its second year I am thrilled to be a proud supporter of this contemporary festival.

On April 2nd and 3rd renowned Canadian and international short films will be showcased at the Colossus Vaughan Cinemas. A special presentation of homegrown film directed and produced by young, talented members of our community will be featured on opening night.

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience innovative short film entertainment. For screening dates, tickets and detailed movie descriptions visit www.vaughanfilmfestival.com. You also won’t want to miss my own personal critique of the films. Stay tuned, my movie-buff friends!
